ABOUT US
A welcoming church community helping people know Christ,
grow in faith, and live out God’s purpose together.
A Church With a Global Mission
From the very beginning until now, God has been consistently faithful to us –and we are confident that His faithfulness will continue, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
The church began humbly as a home fellowship, held in my room, with my family and Mummy Fumilayo Oyedokun. We gathered in that small space for nearly a year, praying, studying, and seeking God’s face. Then came the instruction from the lord to begin Sunday service in my living room, here in Ogombo.
At first, I hesitated. I understood the weight and responsibility of starting a church—the time, the resources, the spiritual commitment it demanded. Despite my reluctance, the Most High God remained persistent, even when it tried to ignore the promptings. I wanted to be fully sure that the time was right. Every time I went out for evangelism, I led people to Christ. But almost invariably, they would ask, “Sir, where is your church?’’ Their desire to fellowship was evident. Like a songwriter once said, “Any matter God shows interest in ends with a crown.’’ These new converts longed to worship with us, but I would direct them to nearby Bible—believing churches.
Eventually, God went silent concerning this divine mandate—and instead began sending others to confirm His will for me. He spoke through people, repeatedly affirming the call to establish a church. Scripture confirms this principle: “This will be the third time I am coming to you. By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established” (2 Corinthians 13:1).
The final confirmation came from an unexpected source—Mr. Monday, who was not a Pastor. He came to me one day and said, “As I was sleeping, something woke me up and told me to come and tell you to start a church in your house here in Ogombo.” I smiled and responded, “I hear you.” That same week, on Sunday in May, I told my family to get ready for church—in our home. We began with seven (7) people. Within six months, our congregation had grown to over a hundred members.
The living room could no longer contain us. That was when God instructed us to move outside. Coincidentally—or rather, providentally—I had purchased a plot of land nearby for business purposes. I had even begun construction. But instead prepare the space for His house.
I had no funds at that time, and I told God, “You already know I don’t have the money.” But He replied, “just start.”
